About Women in Wine & Spirits
Women in Wine & Spirits celebrates the innovators redefining Italy’s wine and spirits heritage while fostering cross-border collaboration and growth.
Our purpose
The event brings together women producers, buyers, media, and hospitality leaders for curated tastings, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to connect.
Our goal is to create a space that highlights leadership and shares visions within the global wine and spirits community.
The experience
Guided tastings led by women producers bring their work, perspectives, and Italy’s wine and spirits heritage into focus.
Women producers, buyers, media, and hospitality leaders come together to exchange visions and highlight leadership across the industry.
The event creates room for relationships, cross-border collaboration, and cross-market opportunities within the global wine and spirits community.
Growing the network
Building on Chicago’s success, Women in Wine & Spirits is expanding to create a global network of ambassadors and cross-market opportunities for Italian women producers.
Community impact
2025 edition
At the 2025 edition, we proudly supported Zenato Academy | Photography, wine and visual culture, a cultural initiative founded by the Zenato family in Peschiera del Garda, Italy.
The Academy connects wine, art, and visual storytelling through photography, engaging young international artists via residencies, exhibitions, and collaborations. Each year, selected students work with Zenato to create original projects that interpret wine culture from fresh artistic perspectives, fostering cultural exchange, creative growth, and a shared vision of creativity and heritage.
2025 edition
The 2025 edition also supported Life in Rosé, a social initiative launched in 2018 by Bosco del Merlo.
The project combines wine with community impact by promoting breast cancer prevention, healthy lifestyles, and awareness, supporting LILT through donations from the sales of Prosecco Rosé DOC and Pinot Grigio Rosé DOC. It also supports wellness events, sports activities, and public campaigns focused on early detection, healthy living, and solidarity with women and families affected by cancer.
